Another Day

Chloe Rachel Flisher

Another day has came to an end,

And today I never had to pretend.

That I am alright,

Not one bad vibe in sight.

I seen my ex we joked and laughed,

Just going on completely daft!

That's what make me so happy,

Seeing him been a cheeky chappy.

Because we may not be together,

Doesn't mean I'll see him beat ever.

I met up with a friend,

Each others ears there to bend.

To clear up the air,

Because the tension I can't bear.

People trying to come between,

Forever wanting to cause a scene.

Not today not on our watch,

Because this friendship isn't a botch.

We've spoke and laid it to bed,

Everything out and it's all been said.

Outloud out in the open,

Now this is how we'll start coping.

With the bitchiness and the lies,

Simply waving them goodbyes.

Out of our lives,

Not dealing with the rife.

We aren't at school no more,

So carry on walking you bore.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Today has been a day of closure on bad vibes and something going on for months. Me and a work colleague and a friend have been caught in a horrible time with rumours and people not wanting us to get along. So what I do best, pen to paper!

Chloe, a straight to the point and heart-felt poem, well penned! Am glad it is finally working out for you. Rumors are a terrible thing, since people seem to believe them even though they have no proof at all.

Thank you Fred! Me too, it's been a very strange year. But life is starting to look up, so hopefully some more upbeat stuff to come!
