Watering The Garden

B.Rent and Thoughts

It broke free

Twisted outward

Its vines wrapped around

The surrounding Daisies

It choked out the Daisies in days

Then began to twirl

Gently

Around the Azaleas

They fell faster than the Daisies

The Roses,

Were the only ones that stood a chance

The thorns,

Held the vines at bay

Until the vines grew thorns

Forcing the tired, wilted Roses out

After that, there was nothing,

But a cluster of thick vines

The plot of land was nothing

That's what happens

When you water the black hole

Of your mind

Quite interesting poem. It reminded me how sin works if left unchecked.
