Domino Effect

Bay

I'll tell you a story as old as time

of a sweet little girl who couldn't wait to die.

She just began living her life on her own,

when late that night she didn't pick up the phone.

It was her friend Susan, who was lost, all alone

in the big city drunk she was walking on home.

Susan got scared and called her for help,

but Emily was laying there bleeding to death.

For poor Emily didn't know what to do,

she had wrote her letters saying "I love you."

She laid in the tub filled with sweet scents galore,

not noticing how much blood she spilled on the floor.

The next morning as Susan wandered in,

she saw her best friend, and watched her life end.

Before Emily died she said a few things,

the whole time Susan never broke her gaze.

This is a story, a sad one at that,

but Emily died, and Susan after that.
