Black Horizon

Damil N.R

Beyond the horizon

layed the darkness

divided by a tower

filled with ugly sadness

When the world ended once

dormant it became

with memories that ache

in the hearts of those that  escaped

The culprit never caught

the innocent never found

just their screams being drown

by the loudness of the countdown

Peace was a dream.

depression a truth.

reality was cruel.

impeding the bloom of the youth.
