Muse

Baylee

I long for you
as a wolf howling at the moon

Contemplating the impossible

as if it were possible

Taking the distance between

Earth and the moon

as if it were simply a muse

Bounding from star to star

floating within the space between

even taking the scenic route

which leads to your embrace

Or perhaps the moon is merely strides away

if we believe it to be so.

And now, Nicole, you are officially a philosopher!
Love that bounding from star to star and floating scene. But maybe we bounce from word to word and float along sentences.
And finally, in your writing you can manifest anything you want to believe. Great poem again!
