Lucky to be what I am!

Poetic Dan

I've come into this world
Ready to explore
The rest of my siblings
Know the score

We fumble about with just our noses
Then comes the eyes to show the smell
Finally the ears kick in, to complete this kit

Every day is fun, bundles of joy
Until it's food, then we take what we want
Don't push the bitch or you'll see teeth
But she always knows just what to do

Then back to the adventure of life
Every moment is new just like a gift
Places to pee, things to chew
Just too much in one day to do

Then comes the strange part
We dissappear one by one
But some how I'm ready to just move on
All these new places just waiting for me

Then worse, this world goes inside out and upside down
There once was an elder who knew what to do
Now there seems to be a lack of understanding my moves

A lot of noise now seems to be how we work
Can't just chew anything, no longer free to just pee
Even trying to attach a object around my neck
I seem to be the only one that knows what to do

The adventure of life still calls every second of the day
But an hour or two is all they have to spare
I hear a tone of their voice that sounds really playful
I hear a tone when when I feel like I may have to bite
Luckily it mostly stays between the two
I just wish they knew how to be true
If only they would live more like me
They'd see balance is as easy to breathe

I was born to walk

I have a tongue and teeth to use

I had others back and they had mine

All with one goal to just explore this world

This feeling lives deep within me

To let go of fear and anxiety

Just travelling free

You call me a dog

Everything backwards

I'm actually God

You certainly are, PD, and that is why you write so good!

Maybe I was a dog in my last life. Appreciate the feed back as always my friend
