Where Primroses Grow.

kevin browne

I had this little dream, making promises for when I kiss her
Where primroses grow and we sit down beside the rivers flow
Underneath white doves, her heart is sprinkled with a four leaf clover
When desire fell short I heard my lover knocking on the door
Soft whispers in her sleepy ears when she fell in love with me
Somewhere they say the rainbow shines on her way up high in dreams
For there the angels spread their wings so us two bonds gently
They sing a simple song which is when our hearts play the violins
Cravings bursting in pain with mirrored reflections on her face
Luscious scents as she brushed passed my raging beating heart
The sun brightens up twinkles in her eyes when she changed my life
And breathtakingly beautiful when her smile hangs upon the clouds
I'd be so alone waiting without her to say welcome home once again
Then flowers grow beneath her feet as she blossoms into burgundy fire
Tenderness is full of overwhelming calmness from every angle I look
Deep down where her soul resides it cries lovingly for ever more
Quenched by the imagination of giving care and her stunning caress
Played by the records she listens to they make some magical moments
My arms wrapped around her being filled with a soft cotton wool
There that saw a marriage develop into buying her a diamond ring
Candle lights flicker in the dark against her gorgeous afterglow
I love it when she says goodnight I love to tuck her in real tight
Prettier than the Red Roses I picked her when she turned so shy
We strolled up good old lovers lane and sat to read lovers poetry
Misty moon above showers down the light that brightens up our lives
Across the skies, she has written a love story forever unfolding
Then when my dreams take place a message is sent to God himself
That I pray for thanking him for one of life's most valued gifts
My sweet angelic torture of her knowing she one day may leave
But there that covers with insurance her love is a certain one
Beware the tidal wave of affection that swallows up both of us
If I were Romeo then speak again, bright angel Juliet oh love
Candle wax writes out the scorching heat in another fairy-tale
Where that a love exists and waits if the nest hasn't flown away
And for 90 years we have loved, held, given, adored and touched
That nothing can ever break our two hearts apart for we are tough
Sharing has been a fortunate path in life when together we walked
Take good care of spirit in love because for us it was good enough.

Kevin, this is a very beautiful declaration of love. But I am perplexed by the 90 year reference.
