Winning what?

Joshua Reidy

Spiritually

The weight of god does not compare

To the thunderous destruction

Of an inanimate object

Bearing down on your bones

And crushing the existence of your soul.

It will leave a shallow body

With lungs leaking

Mouth desperately attempting

To breath it's last few moments of air

The physical eradicating the spiritual

In a fight to the death

Winning what?
