Inevitably night

arazimus

an empty town is where I run

with sodium light instead of sun

a castaway without a sail

or in a dream that fades to fast to tell

half awake and half asleep

a dream that stays just out of reach

so I out the light beside my bed

and turn down the sheets to rest my head

but soon my mind will start to run

if to catch the morning sun

Who brings with it the light of day

but in this cloud I seem to stay

so as sleep escapes me again tonight

i hope that you will all sleep tight
