Marching Band

w c

Marching Band

I really enjoy a marching band

And I cheer for every player

In perfect lines they march and stand

With uniforms perfectly tailored

Every Friday night that they perform

The drum major keeps the beat

The brass section plays its mighty horns

And the woodwind section treats

I enjoy the percussion in the band

Including the big bass drum

They’ve practiced since the summer hot

Playing hours in the sun

The director deserves the recognition

It was all planned by him

A John Philips Sousa in true tradition

As we helped our team to win
