Broken Light

H.l.17

I work in the day,
I live in the night.
I say i'm okay,
For the night gives me light.

I smile at the moon,
And the moon smiles back.
I feel like a harpoon,
That shatters a heart of black.

My life is in pieces,
Like million shards of glass.
My mind braces,
Myself for all the pain I repass.

I try to stay strong,
And lift myself to the sky.
For I was wrong,
And I must say goodbye.
