Parking Lot Birds

Parking Lot Birds

In the city there are the big three

The grackles, sparrows, and starlings

They each eat French fries off the street

And few are ever starving

Yet many go about with missing feathers

And are a pitiful sight

They are so comfortable at being beggars

They have no pride to make them hide

As they walk around the parking lot

Searching for their next meal

They really have no honor at all

And from each other they will steal

Some say they fill a special niche

In carrying trash away

I say that they give me fits

And poop too much to stay

This is funny. I live in the city so i can relate to these city writes, especially about the birds. Creatively written and interesting work. Keep it up. 😊❤💕
