I miss what we had

Nicki Jackson

I miss what we had.

The love we shared.

I miss your touch.

The way your skin felt.

I miss your smile.

And how you gave me mine.

I miss your laugh.

All the jokes you told.

I miss you.

Calling you mine.

I wish it lasted

All the dreams we had

I was not enough for you

You needed someone else

You needed to lie about everything

Now we never talk

and I never smile
