Something a lot like love

Edthepoet

Would you mind
If I stay
Here a little while

Would you mind
If I rest
My head
And Tired eyes

I like that satin
red scarf draped
over your nightlight
And the way you
make me feel like
it's gonna be alright.

Would you mind
If I stay
Here a little while

Would you mind
If I rest
My head
And Tired eyes

I like that acting
surprised to hear
Of my foolish lust
And the way you
Make me feel
Something a lot like love.

We're a little broken down
But we don't need fixing up
Clothes gone out of style
But we're not out of touch
And you're smiling
like you think you know
what I'm thinking of

Would you mind
If I stay
Here a little while

Would you mind
If I rest
My head
And Tired eyes

I like that satin
red scarf draped
over your nightlight
And the way you
make me feel like
it's gonna be alright.
