Way back when we accidentally created a rhythm

All started as a simple vision and a spark of wisdom

Started throwing people where we need them

But no one wanted to condemn

Went to long without speaking out

Now we are caught in a pout trying to shout

Some may give up and surrender

But I’m just trying to re live a fantasy kender

I’m told over and over fall into line

Just because I might be a kid doesn’t mean I’m blind

I see it all happening around me

I can’t just sit back and let it be

Someone needs to break the rhythm

So, we can stop being the victim

I’m tired of being caught in the vicious cycle

Constantly trying to reload our rifle

stop going to the armory

and start living in harmony

We only got one life

let’s put down the knife

Enjoy every day as we please

Walking and enjoying the simple trees

But don’t climb to high

Or society will apply

And we will be left here to die
