The more I try to hold it in, the deeper it's tearing me apart
She brought back symptoms of love, I gave her symptoms of a broken heart
The more I just sit and stare, the longer the tears seem to flow
And when I seem to be at my best is when in hurting the most
And when I see the lone stars, and when I see how "happy" life is
It brings me back to the time where the love we once built
To say I love you is underrated, but forever it could last
And when I think of your heart, I shed tears from the past
But when I see your long smile I wonder is it true and indeed
To once be told never let a good girl go, I wish I could of took heive
The long tears that came down, a smile that was erased
I remember later and tears now a deep hollow sound fills the place
We once we're, we once could
My word should of stood
Never let a good girl go the pains is way misunderstood
