Traditions Of Life.

kevin browne

Some people say the utmost of intriguing things sometimes
Dicks hickory left a mouse which didn't even run anywhere
That in meeting a gesture of a well honest villain who shames
Departure by chance with an integrity of redeeming one's beliefs
There comes along with broken knuckles and a whole lot of fame
Fortunes tell a story building into a dozen more but what's the cost
Additional unnecessary mistakes made by those who learn to die
Operational opinion conveniently allows the movie to flicker on
High stakes low bearing antics which fail in so many a sad way
A rejoice if only there was a memory left unveiled and openly fun
Touching points appears to be whatever it is they are supposed to
For we win the day as communication starts to falter yet regains
From strength to weakness, however, what we say may work out
From a distance, the vision seems to entice towards the defeat
Sharing nothing never really mattered especially if it was a smile
A heart in a mothers torture of indignity of never seeing her again
We write we play, we fight but maybe there may be another way
Sound advice recorded for what we have, what we did and lost
An aspiration on fire evokes tranquillity to distinguish it forever
Days that have never passed us yet will forever remain to promise
A sunflower wakes then comes alive the most simplest of beauty
I share to see this place I stand on forth growing with generosity
A book had to be written for the silence of any man's works hurt
Stand to the tongues of those misfits who fitted into everywhere
Never mind the bollocks once said the queen stood in full armour
So shall steering well clear be the interest of many years to come
Faiths have all the ideas of knowing where they actually came from
Reverting to childhood memories how I wish I could live them again
Expectations fertile seem to a better life if only you were penniless
Whispers bang upon frightened doors that left a home unfulfilled
Bright light cities saw the demise of a tremendous revolting dream
And that a sleep can now rest freely and forever in a dream it is
For standing here spoken with a word of the new authority in love
The second article on its way to be delivered in the traditions of life

There is so much in this poem that I need to 'digest' that I cannot say anything about it yet, except: great writing. Need to read it a few more times!
