Little Bird

Alex PB

Notice of absence from Alex PB
Writin' more and more poems is my job,
I shall write when Shakespeare is back.

Little bird laying on my shoulder,
             That I shall never touch,
                          You shall be my queen,
             That I should worship,
You're the one I shall never touch,
             But that I shall dream,
For you shall rest in my heart,
And you will never be forgotten.
