A Leaf of a Story

cocojoe

Leaves of an autumn tree
They fall
One by one
In the blissful sun

Dancing with the wind
The shows about to begin
They speak in colors
I listen intently
We live and die
It's our life cycle

Covered you from the hot sun
Rustled on a summer breeze
Nourished by our mother tree
Autumn is defined by what you see
From tree to ground we fall in harmony

Our colors Glisten, red, golden crisp are final bow
We hoped you enjoy our show
Say goodbye for another year
Final curtain call is here

You'll spot us when the weather is warm
But until then Protect my mother tree
For without her we can Never be
Spectacular for you to see
