Rocky.

Wallace

Love on the rocks.

For her my heart ticks.

For me her heart no longer tocks.

Her love don't live here any more.

She said loving me is an unwanted chore.

Signs of her unhappiness I did not see.

I thought together we would always be.

I took her for granted.

Unknowing that from me more she wanted.

Love now sour.

I am no longer her shining star.

She left, yes left in a hurry and slammed the front door.

Here I sit alone and sad, my soul pained deep to its core.
