My Glorious October

ScatterMax

The cool breeze breaks the barrier of my skin

The smell of decay, of hibernation

I take in a breath and I relax

The hair on my neck tall

A fallen leaf on my breast

The snow will fall soon

When I will shuffle back to my hole

A month of the early dawning sun

The smooth warmth upon my skin

Arms stretched wide, legs splayed

Like a wheel I spin with my environment

Here I will lay until the chill of winter breaks my trance

Another year and we shall meet again on

My Glorious October
