given up on "us"

Where were you when i needed you?

I've had a rough time the past few months,

you've been acting different since he got sick

then when he passed away so did "us".

I cried out for help but, you failed to be there to save me.

Why does it seem like you've given up on "us".

I've been crying and screaming till I can't breathe,

but somehow you just don't hear me.

Why don't you call me anymore 

sometimes I just like to hear your voice.

I just feel like your slipping away, 

and there's nothing I can do to catch you.

I just don't know what's going through your mind,

when I clearly know what's on mine.
