The Book of Kindness

Jaksr

The man sits with the book in hand every weekend he's there on his lonely.

Sitting outside the bar never stepping a foot inside not even in the rain.

Sheeple passing him by never acknowledging he's there.

He sits there reading his book every now and then he gets a name trown at him wierdo, freak.

He pays no mind and turns the other cheek reading his book he knows he protected.

One cold rainy day a girl walks by flicks a cigarette bud on his old torn coat.

She laughs, he carrys on as well as she.

The women steps off the side walk and breaks her heel. karma a ?

Nobody lends a hand they laugh call her names.

The man gets up book in hand reaches out to assist the women helps her to her feet.

Shes in pain and embarrassed she hurrys off, with no reply.

The man expected that but shouts God bless you.

Returns to were he had left with his stuff thrown and broken.

He sits back down and continues to read his book....

A fine metaphor on goodness, Jaksr. He is blessed, indeed.
