I know there’s so much to explain
But things are complicated
And I know
You get frustrated
But that leads me to conclude
That people aren't bein nice
They’re bein rude
So I just gotta say to you that
I’m always askin myself why
There’s so much hate and wrong things in this life
Cuz when nothing seems to be
And people are hurtin
And you don't see
That’s why there’s so much hate
And shame and sadness and tears in their eyes
Because no one is there
To help them when they cry
I’m always here if you need me
I’ll wipe your tears
And help you through things
Cuz life’s too hard to get through on your own
So I’ll stand by you through it all
And when you are filled fear
I’ll be the first one to hear
I heard you screamin in the night
I felt your pain
But the pain is gone now.
Which only makes me think about how
I’m always askin myself why
There’s so much hate and bad things in this life
Cuz when nothing seems to be
And people are hurtin
And you don't see
That’s why there’s so much hate
And shame and sadness and tears in their eyes
Because no one is there
To help them when they wanna die
I know things are hard
But they’ll improve
You just gotta move on
And i know
And i feel
The way you cry
Deep down inside
But I’m here for you
And I’m here to stay
Though the times
When you wanna fade away
Come to me
Into my loving arms
I’ll hold you tight
And make everything alright
I always asked myself why
There’s so much hate and suicide in this life
Cuz when nothing seemed to be
And when people were hurtin
And you didn’t see
That’s why there was so much hate
And shame and sadness and tears in their eyes
Because no one was there
To help them when they were alive.
