The Ocean I Am

Hartless

As i wake through life
Mind forever crashing ashore
Thoughts, deep in the abyss
The body of my waking mind
Forms from outward preasures
Forever touching, forever waking
Only present as they curl out apon the sand
Only given form by unimbodied forces

Myself rises and breaks
Reaching on top the grounded beach
Feeling the presence of others
Footed depressions apon the shore
My self worth trickling over them
Each their own impressions
Each beckoning to give reason
All blinded by collective beauty

Now, ready to retreat
rolling and shaping the ground that holds me
Softening footed impressions
Unifying all embodiment
My own pressence left in their pools
Letting go of impersonation
Melting my thoughts to its source
Fleeting to everythig, nothingness

I look deep within myself
Beyond the currants and depths of my mind
Beyond the everything else that makes me
I uncurl the wake that forms me
The infinity of living and life itself
The ocean of thoughts, the ego of the moon
They make me who i am, an instant wake between the two.
And i find peace, the ocean of who i am and all that i will be.

  • Comment from author about the poem: We are everything other than what we perceive. I find peace in letting go of the attachments we gather throught our lives.

The spelling errors really take away from the beauty of this poem. Please use maybe microsoft word and use the spell check in the program or find spell checker online. Other than the errors. It seems to be a good write. The spelling errors kind of can confuse a thought and feeling you are trying to convey and it really takes away from the flow of the poem. ❤ 💗 💕 😊
