Facade

poetboy123

Time only can hide all scars, though beneath they shall remain

Growing old and tough until we decide to wash off its stain

A mark forever left behind, a painting of all that had been lost

Blood flowing under the shallow cover, victory with a cost

Love the rhyme. I kind-of wish this was longer. It is interesting. ❤💗💕

      Powerful as always!
They definitely remain, I've been washing mine and making my change. I'm sure with words and the vision like yours there's going to be a flood clearing them all so it can be seen, what time has let be forgotten but never left.
