Edge Of Life.

kevin browne

A place among us where I stand and lean up against you all
A pillar for my rescue plays havoc dependingly on the matter
A life I have learned becomes filled with intoxicating complexities
A self-diagnosed secret passion hiding up behind devils cloud
A temper flares invisibly behind a saddened wardrobe of thought
A viable reckoning of enlightenment for a light shining somewhere
A conception that I perceive to be a whole lot greater than poetry
A philosophy falls prey to wondering ideologist whos ideas are lost
A distance travelled step by step caused a thousand miles to die
A single emotion with trembling vibrations shows what life is about
A development for feelings I desire to be kept under lock and key
A power inherited gifts of talent so another genius was stricken
A madness tore the heart from its mindless reasoning of living
A compliment heard something that day when I heard it was you
A fingertip carries the weight of whatever it wants to say in a pen
A telephone calls the world a snob but without any more whispers
A child deepens with age and throws away the original life it had
A thief who stole my dignity, therefore, teaching me how to lie
A 'so what' dismisses challenges I face with each passing thought
A pretending of the ability in showing how great someone isn't
A wisdom blossomed fully with the generosity of being genuine
A gentleman shows the intelligence of learning how to be a poet
A tenderness touched hearts of those who lived on the edge of life
A feeling of guilt allows my pain to shine right on tortured souls
A giving for the future when it appears to always look so bleak
A passion to cure the world of writing so much in these books
A messy undistinguishable shambles of knowledge yet discovered
A dependency on the gripping ignorance there is towards all things
A danger recites the awkward embarrassing book I just finished
A truth that gives me the strength to stop and always forgive it all
A sign I will leave behind in this world full of colourful imaginations
A love I found in ink gives hope to another writer trying to be cool
A thought I think is deep enough to carry on with my crazy dreams
A wondering through life alone in a reclusive tender of positioning
A 'hail' to all those success stories that haven't even been told yet.

Kevin, this time you outdid yourself! Love how every line starts with 'A', and the last line applies to you and all of us here on MPS.
Thank you for this great posting.
