Lonely Rose

Evan.Peterson

I am a rose
A beautiful creature of its kind
I would love you but in time
You glance at my beauty
But I shall not look at you with the same caring eyes
I may look fragile but I am strong
You want to touch me with all your might
But when you try to love me it will pain me to see
Your hand is the same color as me
I see your eyes and I see pain
Hurt and betrayal
Your eyes have a new sense one I shall not want to see
Hatred and destruction
You crush me with all your might
And as I parish my petals are the last of my remain
But I do know it was not in vain
