Equal

Baylee

Life and death

are equal beings

where one ends,

another begins

The corpse of love

may be the life of confidence

And perhaps the death of envy

births the life of maturity.

I don't know if you saw the poem 'Mortality' I posted yesterday. The second stanza goes as follows:

    Life and mortality
    Siamese twins of destiny
    Joined at the navel
    Our beginning and end

I think it is great that we both thought about something so similar. But you are saying it better than I did, related to love, not death.
I do like your poem a lot and all you say is true.

You say it as well as I did, I believe. I do enjoy your wording of it
