Dear daddy

jessica.shelby

Dear Daddy,

i miss the father i never had

the man you never were

because you're not my dad

dad is what you call the man who raised you

who's taught you and loved you your whole life

and that's not what you are

a father should protect his daughter

she shouldn't need protection from him

when you hit me and yelled at me you taught me that i'm worthless

so i went looking for a man just like you

so "daddy" stop wondering where i went when you're the one who drive me here

love,

the daughter you hated
