Night Time Stroll.

Wallace

Outside dark and calmly still.

Night time air harbours a chill.

Quietness echoes all around.

Peace and calm make no sound.

Sky above lit up with stars.

Roads empty, no polluting cars.

The man on the moon waves from above.

And wishes us all peace and love.

I walk alone, just me myself and I.

I wonder what things will be like when I die.

I see an urban fox watching me.

I look again and with it now is its young family.

I smile and praise mother nature.

For producing on this earth a pretty picture.

I reach the front door of my home.

Goodbye until tomorrow night when again I shall roam.
