Life Feels Like Forever

Edthepoet

Bobby had a dream
That he found the perfect woman
Only to wake up
And find he's still alone

No matter how hard he tries
To find her every night
He's a lost soul chasing
the shadows of a ghost
of somebody
He's never known.

Bobby I'm worried about you
You're becoming quite the recluse
Of course I care about you
But I care not enough for two

If you won't help yourself
They'll take it all back
For themselves
There's nothing I can do

Bobby said he cares about the music
Not enough to dance
He cares about amusement
Not enough to laugh
He cares about ambition
Not enough to try
He cares about opinion
Not enough to cry

Bobby said is it just me or while we're running out of time
Does life feel like forever sometimes.

Sometimes life does feel like forever. Age will fix that. Days still pass slow but years pass in an instant.

Love the "He cares about" sequences in this good write. Well done, Ed!
