There’s a train in the distance that I wish that I was on
Its destination’s not important it’s just time that I move on
Far away from friendly faces that shift to monsters in the dark
Away from the town the girl resides that broke this bleeding heart
Just let me on mister conductor
Please let me on
And keep this train
Rollin on
Somewhere down the line there’s a place I’ve never been
Where the bars aren’t on the windows and neighbors are your friends
Where the streets aren’t full of needles and the kids can play all day
Without worry from a stranger trying to lure them away
Just let me on mister conductor
let me on
And keep this train
Rollin on
I just want a place that feels like I belong
Where my mind can be at ease
And this depression can be gone
Somewhere I can be myself happy and carefree
Show my love to someone else
That feels the same way about me
So let me on mister conductor
Let me on
And keep this train
Rollin on

We all dream of this happy place. But does it really exist on Earth? I don't think so.
