Effulgent

Baylee

They say

I am still lingering

over these broken fragments

still pondering whether

I could make something new of them

Perhaps trying to carry them with me

onto a new love

But why would I,

when this new love I have found

seems to be a whole new

effulgent sunrise.

Why would you? This radiant new sunrise is a new beginning and does not need any baggage from the past.
    You write beautifully, Nicole!

Two very different opinions. Thank you
