Wind

Brie

Wind me up,

Set me off

Build me up,

Break me down

I'm a little soldier,

Fighting in this war

Made of plastic

Made of more

I don't want to be a little toy

I want to be me

Why can't you accept that?

Why won't you set me free?

I'd hope that in the future it stops, but I think I'll be taking a break from writing for a while due to the threats, and vulgar content people have said to me.)

Brie, I do like this poem! It is short, but well written. Nobody wants to be a wind-up toy, but too often we expect our loved ones to dance according to our tune.
As far as the threats are concerned, I have no idea who would even think of writing like that, and want you to know that I for one feel sad to see you go. But whatever you do, I do wish you all the best! 🙂
