Lost Souls

haydenraquel

I've watched many souls burn away their existence. Wasting away all that they've got. Looking for a cheap way to feel something. Never ending despair. Lost minds with broken hearts. Throwing away everything just for the rush of the high. Long restless nights with a bottle by your side. Slaving themselves for what lasted only a night. And then again. And again. Never knowing there's more to life. Hearts racing, with eyes that burn like cigarettes. A generation of kids running the streets wild, hoping to never be found. Adrenaline being the only key to survival. But it's that very high that kills them in the end.
