When you don't like what you hear, then change it. The words I've given up on love, will never be true! You've given up on the idea and thought of what it is, but if you carry on walking you will be shown new ideas and this will bring new thoughts, as it's impossible to give up on a feeling.
If we are truly ourselves experiencing ourselves through others, then this is the reason I don't like to say good bye, I never want to lose anything of myself. I'm now trying to see that you never leave, as you are a part of me as I am a part of you and if I don't let you go, then I won't be experiencing myself. With my want of holding on, is holding me and you both back, so I need to stop thinking of only part of me and think of the whole as that includes you too.

A very good write, PD. We ARE experiencing ourselves through the people around us. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a not so good way. Then, instead of getting mad or upset, we do have to take a good look at ourselves to find the truth. I do believe that if we love somebody we give up part of ourselves and together with the other person become a new whole.
