Insignificant Things

youngandnaive

A glance;
His eyes locking onto mine,
For only one short second.

A nudge;
His arm pressing into me
Accidentally, quickly retrieved.

A word;
His voice calling out to me,
To enquire about the necessities.

The world's most insignificant things.
Oh world,
Tell me why my heart swells
When he does these
Insignificant Things.

    Very, very nice poem about young love, Y&N. I wrote something about the same subject titled "First Love", posted August 15th. Have a look and let me know what you think.

    It is the insignificant little things that make life so beautiful and worth living.

      Thank you! I love your poem 'First Love' too - much better than my one!

        Y&N, it is not better, just different!
