No Thanks To You

Thanks to you, I have learned how to live on my own, and thanks to you, I’ve been forced to fight the demons inside me. Thanks to you, I have managed to build myself up higher than I’ve ever been before, and thanks to you, there are so many new people in my life that cherish me. Thanks to you, I have survived one of the loneliest years I’ve ever lived, and thanks to you, I have overcome a heartbreak I didn’t even think existed. So thanks to you, because I’m no longer living life with my best friend, and thanks to you, because you’ve shown me who you really are. I’m no where close to where I need to be, but I’m so much better than who I used to be; no thanks to you.
