If I Could Fly

w c

If I Could Fly...

I wish that I could fly

And be with all the birds

I would fly way up high

And cry out for my words

I would really soar up there

Then flap a little bit

I would be perfect in the air

And enjoy all of it

I would know all the winds

And the directions that they blew

With the thermals here and there

And the updrafts there that grew

I would fly really fast

On my strong and mighty wings

My dives would surpass

Most every man-made thing

I would use my flying skills

To remain aloft up there

In the sky way up high

With eagles everywhere

When my day was over

I would perch on a limb

And undergo another night

Until I could fly again
