Rain Crow
He is a crow to many people
And forecasts summer showers
He perches in the canopy
And calls for them for hours
The rain does sometimes come
And he enjoys every bit
The littles raindrops on his tongue
Just as he called for it
Caterpillars are a favorite dish
And he prefers rain as he dines
He must be cuckoo the jays insist
Lightning strikes him every time
He thoroughly enjoys the hot
And the rainclouds that often gather
He gives the forecasting all he’s got
And he’s often correct on the matter
