Amy

Verna Campbell

Amy was twelve years old and already breaking Daddys heart. He found the drugs in her room, it tore him apart.

With tears in her eyes, she looked up and said," I learned it from you Daddy, then hung her head.

Sweet sixteen came and she had to quit school. A pregnant runaway who couldn't follow the rules.

Now a single mother on her own, Amy got married but soon found herself alone....... No chance ldren, no life, no hope. She lost it all and turned to dope.

Now with Daddys help she numbed the pain thinking the drugs would keep her sane.

Slowly, she started loosung her grip, her sanity fading, it started to slip.

With tears in her eyes, she looked to the heavens and said, "Please be my Daddy. The one I have has been mislead.

Give me another chance to make a new start and I promise you Daddy, I won't bre.ak your heart..........This story is true as you will see, but, it wasn't Amy, it was me.
