Unpleasant Deception

David Grubb

How tranquil the morning sunrise

Deceptively calm is the clear blue sky

The red tainted clouds drifting through the skies

How slow these moments go by

A gentle serene covering to hide

The sounds and sights of death

The horrors and agony of the life in which we dwell

The blindness of the sins that make up mans earth

The inequality of Man and Man

The blindness of the future

These will ensure that Man’s hatred for Man

Will destroy anything that could be his future

How sad the morning sunrise

Man’s future reflected in the clear blue sky

The blood tainted clouds drifting through the skies

For the beauty that is left there is no eyes.
