I love You

magenta1

I love you
How do I explain it is impossible to attest
The love I feel as I watch you rest
Laying beside you my child
My heart is at peace for a while
Gazing at you I can understand
Love is the divinity that God gave to man

Ballerinas will dance
Tonight becomes another day
And my love for you will never stray
Any farther than the stars from the sky
Is the distance between our eyes

Eternal are the moments as they pass
And in life not everything was made to last
The seasons will call
Leaves will fall
All around your heart
Landing on your soul
But my love Is constant every second as you grow old
and just beyond
For the love a father gives a daughter is never gone
I give you my soul forever, It's yours to keep
As I whisper “I love you” and watch you sleep
