Little Toad
There’s something about a little toad
With his hopping here and there
A little chubby as he goes
Catching June bugs everywhere
He hops along in the summertime
When all is warm and well
There is no definite dinner time
He eats when bugs are there
I have never gotten a wart
Though I’ve held a toad at times
The only thing is their pee
But it washes off just fine
He has a very sticky tongue
And catches many bugs
He sticks it out really quick
And eats whole his little grub

Thanks L! I'm glad you enjoyed this little poem. It was as you said a fun write
Now if you can just get the toad to read it. Or maybe he's even do a co-write with you.
Thanks AP! Yes, a toad that could read and write would be interesting!
