We Reached The Stars

In this building

Made from broken hearts,

We plug in our earphones

And drown out the background music

Of shattering dreams.

 

They mock us for being the generation 

That loved too easily.

But they don't understand,

Our love reached the stars

Until it exploded 

And ended up worlds apart.
