We all have the potential.
But we throw it all away.
To say I was the cool guy.
Who hung out with friends.
To smoke of drink or whatever.
One could think there so clever.
But that's never the case.
Some people need to be put in there place.
It's up to that person to take something from it.
Or else your gonna fall flat on your face.
Point, blank, period.

I was that kid who almost threw away any of my future potential. So I know this, and it speaks to me. This poem is kind of like one of the struggles of my life, and luckily I got that wake up call before I fell flat on my face. Your poetry is one of my favorites on this site, you and I have some similar struggles and views and it's cool to see that I'm not the only one here.
