painted smiles

Lost in Murphy

Painted Smiles on painted faces
subtle lies can't hide the traces

The life you lived I did not care
You needed help and I was there

To make me think you're something else
Just showed you have no sense of self

I did not judge when you reached out
But soon lost faith you gave me doubt

Not trusting me was your mistake
No second chance it's just too late

Those words not spoke don't change what's true
What's changed is what I saw in you
