The Breath of an Ocean

Amelia Rose

The Waves flow up and down

Like the breath upon her lips

Out slowly, in a little faster

Sparks fly and the pace is altered

Keep breathing but her steps are faltered

Falling down the waves crash

flowing water or burning ash?

Regulate the ocean but its practically impossible

The waves of her breath become unstoppable

wheezing wheezing wheezing

pause

Trying to locate a cause

Panting panting panting

gasp

Slowly she is losing grasp

drowning drowning drowning drop

the crashing waves have come to a

stop
