Ever since year seven, I knew that I was bi,
After years of relentless bullying, I started to deny.
My hard work stopped, my effort faded.
Overnight I became self-doubting and shy.
Time carried on nonchalantly,
And my joy began to die.
I pushed away good people in hope of acceptance,
I gave up completely and my self-care was neglected.
Time passed and still no change.
Bullies still around but with different name.
People are too easy to push away,
And when I do they never stay,
They just ask if I’m “OK”,
Before not giving a damm,
And walking away.
If you’ve read my story and decided to stay,
Then I only have one thing to say
Run! Run! Run away!
Thanks for listening.
Good day.
